Christmas lunches & Festive Afternoon Teas
Visit the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery and book Christmas lunch from Monday 24th November up until Christmas Eve. For that little treat, why not book Festive Afternoon Tea on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 27th December. For information, menus and how to book online, click the button.
Christmas Lates at the Nursery
Join us for a series of magical late nights and enjoy a festive filled evening from 5.30pm on Friday 5th December, Friday 12th December and 19th December. Find festive street-style food to tuck into, the bar serving seasonal drinks, live music to bring that Christmassy vibe, local producer demos and plenty of time to shop after hours.
For the Little Ones at the Nursery
From Saturday 13th - 27th December, let your children search for the reindeer around the Nursery and be rewarded with a gift from us. Pick up a sheet from the Shop counter and return it when finished. Free activity and no need to book.
First Snow' - seasonal storytelling & song in the Tipi Sunday 14th and Sunday 20th at 11am and 1pm, fun for all the family. Please book.
Dickension Evening in Lostwithiel
Thursday 11th December in Lostwithiel Town Centre. Step back in time for a Victorian-style evening of festive charm. Wander candlelit streets with shopkeepers in period costume, enjoy carols, bell-ringers and a visit from Father Christmas. A wonderful start to the season.
New Year's Eve Giants - Lostwithiel
Wednesday 31st December, Lostwithiel Town Centre. Ring in the New Year with a distinctive Cornish celebration as the town lights up for the New Year’s Giants procession. This buzzing carnival parade kicks off at around 11:30 pm outside the King’s Arms. Expect giant figures, drummers, pipers, carnival dancers and a festive crowd, followed by more music and dancing returning via the same route. The tradition began in 1990 and has grown into a key part of Lostwithiel’s cultural identity
Truro Christmas Markets on Lemon Quay
From Friday 21st November to Wednesday 24th December on Lemon Quay, Truro. A must-visit for festive shopping, discover handcrafted gifts, Cornish food and drink, and artisan treats under sparkling lights. The air fills with carols and the scent of spiced cider - Christmas perfection.
Aladdin at the Hall for Cornwall
From Friday 5th December 2025 to Saturday 3rd January 2026, make a date to go to the panto! We have partnered with the Hall for Cornwall, where you can buy your tickets and receive some complimentary treats. All information provided when you book with us.
Father Christmas at the Museum
From Wednesday 10th to Wednesday 24th December, visit the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro and follow Lowen the Elf on a magical storytelling trail. Meet Father Christmas in his grotto, each child receives a small gift.
The Night Garden at Heligan
Selected evenings from Saturday 15th November 2025 to Saturday 3rd January 2026. Again, we have partnered with the Lost Gardens of Heligan and are able to offer guests a special discounted ticket price. Information will be sent after booking, or give us a call for more information.
Mousehole Harbour Lights
From Thursday 11th December 2025 to Saturday 3rd January 2026, Mousehole Harbour. An iconic Cornish tradition, nearly 7,000 lights illuminate the quaint harbour and narrow streets of Mousehole. Arrive early for parking and expect a walk down to the village.
