Named after the Holy Trinity Chapel reputed to lie beneath Trinity House, Trinity has been painstakingly refurbished and great care has been taken to retain its character and historic features.
Trinity has a generous sitting room with Georgian wall panelling, dual aspect shuttered windows, a large open fireplace, subtle lighting and high-quality soft furnishings. There is a TV, DVD player, hi-fi and plenty of DVDs, books and board games.
The accommodation has a large and well-equipped kitchen/dining room with a cooker with double oven and ceramic hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer and dryer and a wide selection of cookware, crockery and glassware.
There are two bedrooms, both located on the first floor. The master bedroom enjoys views to the front and side of Trinity and has a super king bed and a TV. There is also a lovely twin bedroom to the rear, enjoying dual aspect views over the River Fowey. Savour our wonderfully comfortable beds and the finest Egyptian cotton bed linen at the end of an enjoyable day.
Trinity has a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, a wash basin and WC.
Trinity has a private paved terrace area to the side of the property, with a barbecue and garden furniture. This makes the perfect spot to watch the river, where you will often see herons, kingfishers and a myriad of other wildlife.
Guests staying at Trinity have full access to the extensive leisure facilities at Restormel Manor, including an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room and sauna, children’s play area, tennis court and games room.
“We try to get back every year because it’s so good. Trinity was a most comfortable and tastefully furnished property with excellent fixtures and fittings. Comfortable beds, great views and a short walk up through lovely woodland trails to the Duchy Nursery for an enjoyable lunch served by pleasant staff. Highly recommended all round.”
A perfect retreat, Trinity is surrounded by extensive woodland walks and is a great base from which to visit many of Cornwall's top attractions.
Located in the tranquil Fowey Valley countryside, it is only one mile from the ancient town of Lostwithiel. Here, you can enjoy a collection of quirky and independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
