This character barn conversion forms part of the courtyard range adjoining the Welsh royal residence Llwynywermod, and is available for periodic holiday let.
West Range has been beautifully furnished to suit its history and surroundings, with a mixture of period and contemporary furniture, including many Welsh pieces and local fabrics.
With sustainability brought to the fore, both the heating and hot water are supplied from a wood chip boiler and electricity is provided solely by a renewable source.
The comfortable and stylish sitting/dining room enjoys views over a beautifully landscaped and maintained courtyard garden. Alongside an open fireplace and built-in bookcases, the living area has high quality soft furnishings, a TV, DVD player, hi-fi and an ample supply of DVDs and board games.
The traditional-style kitchen contains a ceramic hob, double oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer, fridge freezer, and a wide selection of cookware, crockery, glassware and cookbooks.
There are two bedrooms, both located on the first floor: one double with a king size bed and one twin bedroom. All of our bedrooms have comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen.
A well-equipped family bathroom and an en-suite bathroom are located on the first floor, both featuring a bath, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. There is also a separate shower in the family bathroom.
West Range has a securely fenced garden with wooden garden furniture and a barbecue. Guests can also enjoy a beautiful, wildlife-friendly courtyard garden with a constantly changing planting scheme and a central fountain.
West Range is ideal for dogs and you are very welcome to bring up to two dogs on holiday at a cost of £30 per dog per week.
“This really is a royal retreat! As you would expect, everything is of the highest quality and the gardens and surrounding countryside are full of wildlife. Sitting in the evening sunlight and contemplating the peaceful view before our inevitable return to the frantic world outside has been just bliss.”
West Range sits within 192 acres of farmland with beautiful views over historic parkland, near Myddfai, Llandovery, in Carmarthenshire. With the Brecon Beacons nearby, it’s a perfect base for both relaxed and active breaks.
