This attractive three-bedroom house stands on the boundary of the ancient manor of Penlyne, across from Restormel Castle and looks over the Fowey valley. Surrounded by woodland and with a sizeable garden, Penlyne is an ideal Cornish rural retreat.
Penlyne can sleep and additional person making the total six by requesting a trundle bed in the single bedroom at an extra charge of £50.
**The swimming pool complex at Restormel will be closed from Monday 15th April - Friday 24th May for Maintenance**
The hand crafted English oak framed garden room provides comfortable and stylish accommodation within its arts and crafts inspired interior. A log burner, high-quality soft furnishings, well-stocked bookcase,TV, DVD player, Roberts Radio and board games.
The oak floored kitchen and dining room, with hand painted kitchen, is equipped with an electric range cooker with double oven and induction hob, an American-style larder fridge freezer, and a wide selection of cookware, crockery and glassware. A large table is perfect for informal dining.
Penlyne also has a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are three bedrooms, all located on the first floor: one double with king size bed and an en-suite shower room, another king size double and one single bedroom. The master bedroom overlooks the beautiful wooded Fowey Valley. All of our bedrooms have comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen.
The single bedroom can also be set up with a trundle bed at an extra charge of £50,
There is a well-equipped family bathroom on the first floor with a bath with overhead shower and WC. The bathroom and en-suite shower room have heated towel rails. There is also a ground floor cloakroom.
Penlyne enjoys a westerly aspect and on fine evenings is a perfect spot for sunset barbecues, taken in the new oak framed garden room. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided.
As a guest staying at Penlyne, you will have full access to the extensive leisure facilities at Restormel Manor, including an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room and sauna, children’s play area, tennis court and games room.
Penlyne is ideal for dogs and you are very welcome to bring up to two dogs during your holiday at a cost of £35 per dog per week. Please note that not all of the garden at Penlyne will be fenced, but there will be secure areas for dogs.

Penlyne is located in the tranquil countryside of the Fowey Valley, a short walk from Restormel Manor and only one mile from the attractive medieval town of Lostwithiel with its quirky collection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
A perfect retreat, it is surrounded by extensive woodland walks, close to Cornwall’s beautiful south coast and within easy travel distance of the rugged north coast.
