A comfortable and stylish sitting room with an open fireplace and well-stocked built-in bookcases awaits. Penlyne has high-quality soft furnishings, a TV, DVD player, hi-fi and an ample supply of DVDs and board games.
The traditional slate-floored kitchen and dining room is equipped with an electric range cooker with double oven and ceramic hob, an American-style larder fridge freezer, and a wide selection of cookware, crockery and glassware. A large table for six is perfect for informal dining.
Penlyne has a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are three bedrooms, all located on the first floor: one double with king size bed and an en-suite shower room, one double and one single bedroom. The master bedroom overlooks the beautiful wooded Fowey Valley. All of our bedrooms have comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen.
There is a well-equipped family bathroom on the first floor with a bath with overhead shower and WC. The bathroom and en-suite shower room have heated towel rails. There is also a ground floor cloakroom.
Penlyne enjoys a westerly aspect and on fine evenings is a perfect spot for sunset barbecues and who knows, perhaps even the occasional sundowner, taken in the new oak framed garden room. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided.
As a guest staying at Penlyne, you will have full access to the extensive leisure facilities at Restormel Manor, including an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room and sauna, children’s play area, tennis court and games room.
Penlyne is ideal for dogs and you are very welcome to bring up to two dogs during your holiday at a cost of £30 per dog per week.
Penlyne is located in the tranquil countryside of the Fowey Valley, a short walk from Restormel Manor and only one mile from the attractive medieval town of Lostwithiel with its quirky collection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
