Sitting within a courtyard range adjoining the Welsh royal residence of Llwynywermod, North Range is a charming barn conversion available for occasional holiday let.
North Range forms part of a courtyard attached to Llwynywermod Farmhouse and is beautifully furnished to suit the style of the property, with a mixture of period and contemporary furniture including many Welsh pieces and local fabrics.
Sustainability has been championed, with both the heating and hot water powered by a wood chip boiler and electricity provided by a renewable source.
A very large and comfortable stone-flagged sitting/dining room has an open fireplace, oak shutters and well-stocked built-in bookcases. This space also has high quality soft furnishings, a TV, DVD player and hi-fi, and a range of DVDs and board games.
The traditional slate-flagged kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, double oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and wide selection of modern cookware, tableware and cookbooks. A washing machine and dryer are located in a separate room leading off from the kitchen.
There are three bedrooms, all located on the first floor: one en-suite double with a king size bed and two twin bedrooms. All of our bedrooms have comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen.
A well-equipped family bathroom and en-suite bathroom are found on the first floor, each featuring a bath, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. There is also a separate shower in the family bathroom.
The garden at North Range enjoys wonderful views over historic parkland, with wooden garden furniture and a barbecue provided. Guests can also make use of Llwynywermod’s peaceful courtyard garden with its constantly changing planting schemes, which attract many kinds of wildlife, and a central fountain.

“We cannot make any suggestions because you have thought of everything. We’ve loved everything about the place – the walks, the accommodation, the wonderful garden and the area. We’ve been inspired to make changes to our garden.”
