We are delighted to announce that Trewollack House and Harris Cottage, St Columb Minor , Nr Newquay are now complete and are available for immediate let. Our Newquay cottages are ideally located to access the magnificent North Coast beaches and are situated in quiet locations, within Duchy of Cornwall farmland accessed by private farm roads. All our cottages have large private gardens complete with furniture and barbecues. The opening of Jamie Oliver's 15 restaurant at Watergate bay 2 miles from Newquay has undoubtedly focused renewed interest on the Newquay area but is only one of many attractions to the area including:- • The Extreme Sports Academy at Watergate Bay – learn to surf, windsurf, kite surf, etc. • Renowned surfing and water sports on the magnificent North Coast beaches. • Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay. • Newquay Zoo • The Eden Project & Lost Gardens of Heligan are only approximately 15 miles away. • The Tate and St Ives are only approximately 40 minutes away. • Padstow with Rick stein who has many enterprises in the town including restaurants, a fish and chip shop etc is only 15 miles. The Camel Trail connects Padstow to Wadebridge and Bodmin – perfect for safe bicycle trips with children – level too! TREWOLLACK HOUSE – SLEEPS 8 PLUS COTS Trewollack House is a fine Georgian fronted building set approximately half a mile off the highway and has been comprehensively refurbished and is newly available for Spring 2007. Trewollack House has extensive grounds complete with terrace, quality garden furniture and barbecue. The garden is fenced to provide a secure play area for younger visitors. To the left of the traditional slate floored entrance hall is a sitting room with open fire, subtle lighting, and high quality soft furnishings, flat screen digital TV with DVD player and hi-fi. Next to the sitting room is a library or games room with a large flat screen digital TV with DVD and easy chairs. To the right of the hall is a large slate floored traditional kitchen / dining room which is comprehensively equipped with dishwasher, American Fridge / Freezer, range type ceramic hob, double oven and all conceivable cookware, crockery, glassware, cook books etc. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and ground floor cloak room lead off from the kitchen. The sleeping accommodation comprises two double, en-suite bedrooms with king size beds, one a four poster and two twin bedded rooms The large family bathroom located on the first floor has traditional sanitary ware, bath with shower over, heated towel rail and recessed lighting. Trewollack House adjoins Harris Cottage which can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Harris Cottage can be rented as an annexe to Trewollack House for larger parties. |
