GRANGE FARMHOUSE, HAREWOOD END (Sleeps 9 plus cots)
Located between Hereford and Ross on Wye, Grange Farmhouse is an` early 17th Century traditional farmhouse which has been uninhabited for over thirty years. The Duchy of Cornwall purchased Grange Farmhouse as part of an extensive estate in the year 2000 and the house is being painstakingly refurbished to be available to rent from Easter 2007. As a listed building and in line with our conservation ethos, all works are being carried out utilising appropriate construction techniques and materials. All timber and stone will be sourced from Duchy of Cornwall woodlands and quarries.
Grange Farmhouse is ideally located to explore the beautiful Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, rural Herefordshire and the Brecon Beacons. Due to its central location, Grange Farmhouse is also within easy reach of Bristol, Bath, the Cotswolds and South Wales.
A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
NEWQUAY, CORNWALL
Our Newquay cottages are ideally located to access the magnificent North Coast beaches and are situated in quiet locations, within Duchy of Cornwall farmland accessed by private farm roads. All our cottages have large private gardens complete with furniture and barbecues
1 AND 2 GUSTIVEAN COTTAGES (Sleeps 4 and 6 plus cots respectively)
Set amidst farmland but just 1 mile outside the popular resort of Newquay, these, typically Cornish, cottages built of local cob and stone are being extensively refurbished and will be available to let from Christmas 2006. Cottage 1 sleeps 4 and Cottage 2 sleeps 6.
TREWOLLACK HOUSE (Sleeps 8 plus cot)
Across the road from Gustivean and set approximately half a mile off the highway, with extensive views over farmland, Trewollack house is a fine Georgian building. The House is undergoing extensive refurbishment and will be furnished to reflect the age of the property. Trewollack House will be available from Easter 2007
HARRIS COTTAGE (Sleeps 2 plus cot)
Harris Cottage adjoins Trewollack House. This simple little cottage, which is to be extensively refurbished, is ideal for couples and can be let along with Trewollack House, or separately. This cottage will be very popular for out of season short breaks and will be available from Easter 2007.
