Trinity, named after the Holy Trinity Chapel which is reputed to lie beneath Trinity House, has been painstakingly refurbished and great care has been taken to retain the character of the property and historic features. The interior is beautifully furnished to suit the style of the property with a mixture of period and contemporary furniture.
Heating and hot water are supplied from a wood chip district heating system and our electricity is only provided from a renewable source.
The accommodation, entered from the rear of the property, comprises sitting room, kitchen / dining room, one double and one twin bedroom and family bathroom.
Trinity is accessed via a porch to the rear of the property, leading to the open plan kitchen / dining room. The kitchen / dining room enjoys wonderful dual aspect views of the River Fowey. The oak floored kitchen has traditional hand painted kitchen units with slate worktops and a Belfast sink and has been comprehensively equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric cooker with ceramic hob, double fan assisted oven and all conceivable cookware, crockery, glassware, cook books etc. A combination washing machine / dryer is also provided.
The kitchen / dining room leads through to a large sitting room with Georgian wall panelling, dual aspect shuttered windows and a large open fireplace (logs are supplied free of charge from the adjoining Duchy woodlands), with subtle lighting and high quality soft furnishings. 37 inch flat screen TV with video, DVD player, hi-fi with Ipod docking station and an ample supply of DVDs, board games and books are supplied.
A staircase leads off the sitting room to the first floor bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a super king bed and enjoys glorious dual aspect views over the River Fowey and parkland. The twin bedroom also has dual aspect views over the river and has a beautiful period fireplace and original timber wall panelling.
The family bathroom has traditional sanitary ware, bath with shower over and w.c., heated towel rail and recessed lighting.
Trinity House has full central heating and towels and linen are provided. All electricity and heating including logs are included in the tariff, together with a welcome pack and complimentary toiletries.
Smoking within the house is not permitted.
We regret dogs cannot be accommodated.
