Restormel Manor is one of the most historic and cherished houses owned by the Duchy of Cornwall and sits within the heart of the Duchy of Cornwall's historic estate approximately 1 mile from the attractive medieval town of Lostwithiel. The Manor is located in unspoilt countryside at the head of the beautiful Fowey valley and nestles beside the river Fowey, overlooked by Restormel Castle.

Restormel Manor is spread between the three Manor House properties and the six cottages located in the Manor Courtyard. The Manor House properties can be reserved separately or, if your needs require a larger space, the entire house can be reserved.

Luxury facilities on your doorstep

The Manor House properties have access to the heated indoor pool powered by the woodchip boiler.
Outdoor tennis courts are within the grounds of the site.
Heating for Restormel Manor is supplied by the on-site woodchip boiler.

Building work

Please note that building works have commenced to convert a farm building range adjacent to the courtyard cottages. We have discounted tariffs for the courtyard cottages up until week ending 20th July 2013 to reflect periodic noise Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 4.30 pm.

Hutchings & Warricks are closest to the works and discounted by 15% of the normal tariff.

Cardinan, Hext, Diggery & Staniforth have been discounted by 10%.

Dairy House, Manor House & Trinity are remote from the works and unaffected.

The construction site has its own separate access and there will be no access through the holiday cottages site. Since works commenced in December, we have not had a single complaint from guests about the works and the contractors have been very cooperative. Most guests are out exploring through the day and the grounds are peaceful from 4.30pm onwards.
