This charming and carefully converted building enjoys fantastic views over the Restormel parkland and River Fowey.

LIVING

Diggery has an open-plan sitting room/dining kitchen with a wood burner and stylish, comfortable furniture. Here you’ll find a TV, DVD player, Roberts Radio, books and board games.

EATING

The kitchen contains an electric cooker with double oven and ceramic hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer, along with a wide selection of contemporary cooking utensils and tableware.

SLEEPING

On the first floor, a double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom overlooks the courtyard garden and offers views across to Restormel Castle. A further twin bedroom is located on the ground floor. All of our bedrooms have comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen.

BATHING

Beside the twin bedroom, a well-equipped ground floor family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC. There is a separate en-suite bathroom with an overhead shower in the first floor double bedroom. Both feature heated towel rails and recessed lighting.

GARDEN

Diggery has a private garden area within the wider courtyard garden, which features a mature planting scheme of flowers, trees and shrubs that attracts a variety of birds.

LEISURE

Guests have full access to the leisure facilities at Restormel Manor, including an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room and sauna, children’s play area, tennis court and games room.

Based within the grounds of Restormel Manor, Diggery is located in the tranquil countryside of the Fowey Valley. From here, you are just one mile from the attractive medieval town of Lostwithiel with its quirky collection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants.

A quiet retreat surrounded by extensive woodland walks, the cottage is close to Cornwall’s beautiful south coast and within easy travel distance of the rugged north coast.
