Located to the West of the main Manor House, Dairy House is a beautiful spacious 3 bedroom holiday home enjoying stunning views over parkland and the River Fowey.
Dairy House has been painstakingly refurbished and great care has been taken to retain the character of the property and historic features. The interior is beautifully furnished to suit the style of the property with a mixture of period and contemporary furniture.
Heating and hot water are supplied from a bio mass district heating system and our electricity is only provided from a renewable source.
The accommodation, entered from the side of the property comprises boot room, kitchen, drawing room, study, two double and one twin bedroom and family bathroom. The master bedroom and twin bedroom are en suite.
Dairy House is accessed via the porch to the side of the property and has a large attractive private courtyard and garden area. There is a large slate flagged boot room with cloak room and washing machine and tumble dryer.
The large slate flagged kitchen has traditional hand painted kitchen units, large farmhouse table, oak worktops and has been comprehensively equipped with dishwasher, American fridge freezer, electric range cooker with large ceramic hob and all conceivable cookware, crockery, glassware, cook books etc.
The hallway connects to the study which was formerly a game larder and large sitting room. The sitting room has a beautiful slate flagged floor, granite double range fireplace with large wood burner, (logs are supplied free of charge from the adjoining Duchy woodlands), with subtle lighting and high quality soft furnishings a 42 inch flat screen TV with video, DVD player and hi-fi with Ipod docking station and an ample supply of DVDs, board games and books are supplied. Shuttered windows enjoy lovely views over park land to the front of Restormel Manor.
A staircase leads off the hallway to the first floor bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a super king bed and enjoys glorious views over the River Fowey and parkland. This large bedroom suite has a flat screened digital television and arm chair, and en suite bathroom. The twin bedroom has an en suite shower room and the second double bedroom enjoys river views to the rear of the property.
There is a family bathroom with traditional sanitary ware, bath with shower over and w.c., heated towel rail and recessed lighting.
Dairy House has full central heating and towels and linen are provided. All electricity and heating including logs are included in the tariff, together with a welcome pack and complimentary toiletries.
Dairy House has full access to the extensive leisure facilities at Restormel Manor including an indoor heated swimming pool, childrens play area, tennis court and games room.
Complimentary fishing is also available on the River Fowey adjacent to Restormel Manor (subject to season and availability).
Smoking within the house is not permitted.
